Hier einige nennenswerte Ereignisse in chronologischer Reihenfolge:

Single Malt Scotch Whisky from Bruichladdich Distillery - limitierte Single Cask Abfüllung von 218 Flaschen weltweit - Alkoholgehalt 53.5% - natürliche Farbe - ohne Kältefiltrierung.Jim McEwans persönlichen Eindrücke ungefiltert:Aromas & Flavours - Opens beautifully on a combination of plump ripe grapes, sweet oak and hot washed malt with an overture of Rowan, Birch & Heather flower in bloom. The fruitiness with the oak is well balanced and you will also detect a squeeze of honey & lemon and a slight nuttiness from the oak. I find this to be one of the most intriguing malts I have ever evaluated.
Its taste spectrum is amazingly broad ranging from fruity to floral to wine like to citrus to kiln dried barley to oaky overtures. It’ complex! The colour is absolutely beautiful proving that the quality of the Syrah grapes who were the first occupants of the cask add their presence providing a magical highlight that is very rare making for a terrific mid palate experience.
The finish is harmonious and lingers long like a good friend whose company is enjoyed and cherished and that is a true reflection of the team that made this spirit in a Distillery that could so easily have been lost forever.
Bruichladdich 2009 / 9 Years / The Cask Whisperer

Single Malt Scotch Whisky from Bruichladdich Distillery - Limited Single Cask Abfüllung von 349 Flaschen weltweit - Amarone Rotweinfass - Alkoholgehalt 51.9% - natürliche Farbe - keine Kühlfiltration.Jim McEwan's persönlichen Eindrücke:Colour: Stunning burnt orange. Medium Amber. August Islay Sunset.Body: Rich and assertive with that unique DNA of Islay’s association with the Atlantic Ocean which lifts the spirit and brings balance to both the aroma & flavour.Nose: Opens beautifully on notes of crisp, sweet tasting barley and wild honey with just a hint of spice, almond and tannin. Then the rich plump aromas of the Amarone grapes evolve; disarming, inviting and bringing a brilliant fruit overture to the senses. The richness of the grapes succulent and sweet, underpinning the quality of the Scottish barley and the mellowness of oak.Palate: At 9 years of age the spirit is robust and full of passion as one would expect from a young Islay spirit. You can detect the marine influence which gives a light salty/lemon grapefruit flavour which brings a beautiful contrast to the red fruit notes of the Amarone. With its rich sweet red wine overtures, the Cinderella of Islay meets the Prince of Italy! Amarone is one of the most distinctive wines produced anywhere in the world. The casks used previously held Corvina wine. Their coming together is brilliant and very rare. The palate is in Heaven, I have never before experienced such a combination. The fruitiness of the semi dried grapes is the perfect foil for the marine influence of the sea. The cereal sweet barley in harmony with oak ensures that Islay’s most elegant spirit is always in control of this amazing spiritual coming together.Finish: It’s warm, strong and mellow, just like the character of the Scots and the Italians - a rare beauty!
Bruichladdich 2012 / 7 Years / The Cask Whisperer
100,00 CHF*
Single Malt Scotch Whisky from Bruichladdich Distillery - limitierte Single Cask Abfüllung von 344 Flaschen weltweit - Alkoholgehalt 50.1% - natürliche Farbe - ohne Kühlfiltration.Jim McEwans persönlichen Eindrücke ungefiltert:Fresh vibrant overtures of toasted barley sweet and crisp mingle beautifully with the floral notes of Buttercup, Lily & Primrose overplayed by a fresh marine overture that leads you into a sweet gentle drift of spicy vanilla, mellow oak and creme brûlée encapsulated in flavours of oak and toffee. The organic barley shines through beautifully and the freshness on the tongue is delightful. It’s well structured and with a texture that caresses the taste buds into dreamland. Organic barley is rare and expensive but it highlights the skill of the guys who work quietly with patience and pride in being part of this rare spirit. As you and I sleep the Stills keep boiling and the Distillers keep toiling through the night proud and passionate and then the long wait begins. 7 years of maturation by the Atlantic Ocean which adds a beautiful fresh citrus lemon & honey overture that is unique only whisky matured full term by the Atlantic Ocean with it’s many faces.
The freshness of the spirit is delightful as are the well structured flavours of oak, toffee, ripe fruit, sweet barley and that saline element in the nose that moves on the taste and aftertaste.
Single malts do reflect their heritage and their makers. This is the proof that passion, pride and patience will forever be the hallmark of Bruichladdich. The Cinderella of Islay has come to the ball!
